Manta is Enrique Olvera's restaurant in Los Cabos, Baja California. Located in The Cape Hotel, the cuisine is a fusion between local flavours and ingredients from the peninsula with a Japanese inspiration.

The monospaced logo alludes towards Japanese writing and can be used in a horizontal or vertical position. The colour palette draws inspiration from the ocean and tonalities of stingrays – where the restaurant gets its name from.
El logotipo monoespaciado hace alusión a la escritura japonesa, pudiéndose utilizar de manera horizontal o vertical. La paleta de color está inspirada en el mar y las tonalidades de las mantarayas, de donde el restaurante obtiene su nombre.

The applications use imported asian papers with a tactile texture to reflect a natural style. In order to complement the graphic system we developed several stingray watercolour illustrations as well as a pattern derived from the skin of these animals so that we could achieve in context an overall organic and fluid expression. The typography used is a modern, minimalist and simple sans serif to round the identity up.
Las aplicaciones utilizan papeles asiáticos importados con textura táctil para reflejar un estilo natural. Para complementar el sistema gráfico se desarrollaron distintas ilustraciones en acuarela de mantarayas y una textura inspirada en la piel de estos animales para dar al conjunto una sensación más orgánica y fluida. La tipografía utilizada es una sans serif: moderna, minimalista y simple.
